9/11/25 - The Contractor has decided to postpone the start of construction until spring do to scheduling conflicts. An update with the spring construction date will be sent out in the spring.

9/8/25 - Utility relocations will be happening around the site. Connexus will be removing the power poles and will be burying new lines underground.

9/5/25 - A project start date has not been determined yet. The Contractor has stated that October will be the start date if construction is still planned for 2025. The contractor has the option to either construct this fall or spring 2026. The proposed construction schedule can be found here Proposed Project Schedule.

8/25/25 - Notices have been sent out via mail to inform residents of the project. For residents living with the construction limits, the notice that was sent can be found here 2505 Resident Notice - Project Info. 8/19/25 - The project was awarded to Douglas-Kerr Underground, LLC at the 8/18/25 City Council Meeting.

7/22/25 - Bid Opening will be 8/13/25 at 11:00 AM. Council acceptance of lowest bid is planned for 8/18/25.

6/17/25 - The City Council approved the project to be advertised for contractor's bids.
